The two takedown notices have been so disappointing, especially because most non-Japanese people don't even have any other way to read the books legally. Do you know of anything we could do to urge the publisher to consider an official English translation?

Yes, Kodansha USA has a form you can fill out here! I encourage everyone to fill it out once for No.6, and once for No.6 Reunion. Filling it out multiple times does not increase the likelihood that it will get picked up.

@jellalism I know I should but then again no one on tumblr knows my home address... No one on this site even knows my last name. But my friends, family and ppl I talk to all know I have a turtle. I even post videos of her and had her since I was in grade school. Yet no one said we needed a permit.. Even when I told a teacher at my old high school who had turtles in her classroom that I have a turtle she didn't ask if I had a permit... I mean the permit is only 10 dollars but the issue is I don't have the receipt for her it's been so long plus I recieved her from my uncle. Plus my family does take good care of her. She's the only reptile I have in my house. Also I try not to worry about ppl on tumblr trying to take my turtle away because like I said I'm super unpopular on social media.... Deadass it's because I only let ppl I know be friends with me on Facebook and ppl on tumblr are all over the place so I don't think anyone's going to come to my house and take her away. Like I said I had her forever and no one said anything to me.i never gotten sick from handling her and never had a issue. We go to Petsmart all the time to buy live fish for her and we tell them it's for our turtle and no one questions. Plus pet stores told me it's only illegal to sell them as pets but can keep them as pets. No one ever mention some permit..

This is a rather silly, but in university I specialized in Chinese philosophy. And now I pronounce "Ponzi" the Chinese way in my head, because every Chinese philosopher is called "zi" on the end (e.g. Zhuangzi, Kongzi, Mozi). It means "Master" (e.g. Master Zhuang, Master Kong, Master Mo).

So, yeah. My brain is like: "Master Pon, the learned sage".

What even... I'm glad I've managed to steer clear from this kind of discourse in the akayona fandom so far. xp I mean, yeah a relationship between a 25 and a 16 year old would be creepy.... if it were real. but this is fucking fiction lmao. as long as you dont get off on the age gap i'm not worried.

What kills me is that they act like aged up fics don’t actually exist... like the solution is right there.

@jellalism thanks but the thing is I also don't have any friends that I see on a daily basic. I go to my class come to my apartment look out my window and text him but now he's gone I don't have that anymore. And I then usually do my homework or try to at least and then I eat food and go to sleep every day. My two friends that are around are both working in college and so I only have my cat that keeps me company so I don't have any social life what's so ever

Yeah but when you have anxiety everything in this world is a red flag. These guys were dressed in white shirts with saggy pants the type of dude I fear the most. And they were sitting in a parking lot and saw I was avoiding them. I'm just don't want to take any chances. I hear so many stories of women replying to hello and guys keep bothering her and lure her in and im very paranoid about that. Back in grade school, middle school and high school guys would bully me a lot. My neighbor wouldn't leave me alone when I was walking home in middle school. My dad keeps telling me to not trust anyone and watch out for cars as they might try to kidnap you. It is so bad I even ignored a little child who was crying in my driveway because I heard some dudes try to use children to lure in victims by saying they are lost and such I saw that post on tumblr actually. I had to have my brother go out to go see why the child was crying. It was legit. But it's that bad I don't take any chances. I don't talk to men I put music in my ears to make sure no one talks to me. I won't even wear cute clothes so guys don't try to do anything. I won't go in a city alone because of how afraid I am. I carry pepper spray with me everywhere except for the zoo and aquarium, because I'm so afraid guys will come after me. One time I was in a gas station and this older guy touched my hand and asked my name I was so terrified even though I was with my parents now I won't even go in a gas station unless I'm near who ever I'm with. So I don't take any chances I was sweating so much and my heart was pounding and it's scary to me. I don't hate guys but I'm just afraid of them specifically ones hanging out on the sidewalks or parking lots. @jellalism

Except that's the issue you don't really know if the dude is actually homeless. Not to mention it's a bad idea to give a stranger homeless or not ALL the money you have left because then you have no money for food and such. It would be fine if he gave him like 2 dollars but he give him all the money he had that he did not earn. Like my parents say it's easier giving away money if you don't earn it like my mom works like crazy... So crazy that she's even working on the vacation.... My dad doesn't really have a legit job like my mom does either. And I read it's way better to offer a homeless person food or cold drinks(in the summer) or hot drinks (in the winter) then it is giving money. Cause yes there are some ppl out there who rather spend it on drugs and alcohol. And apparently the city I was in is known to be dangerous because of the high use of drugs and alcohol (I know this to be true cause I saw bunch of ppl randomly sitting on the sidewalks with drugs) and so then that would just contribute to their addiction when they should instead get help. Yes it's cold hard truth but I don't believe in just giving money to ppl who you really don't know what they gonna do it with. And to be quiet honest it is incredibly suspicious that the dude was begging and complaining someone else didn't give him money... It sounded so much like a professional begger.... Especially from what I read. What makes this worse is the day before someone literally stole his wallet and even used his debit card....in the same city so it's best to just be on the look out and pick out the difference. @jellalism
