To non chicken folks, that means she's determined to sit on a clutch of eggs till they hatch and raise the babies (some hens are better at this than others). Broody hens typically don't leave the nest more than a couple times a day. Some are so bad, you have to remove them so that they'll eat, drink, and poop at least once a day. This is Jelly Bean's first time going broody and it would appear that she's the stubborn type that has to be taken out of her box to do normal chicken things.
