"What do you want?" He asked, sitting lazily as always.

When Valeria was about to go out with friends, and when her step mother asked for a name, she would always answer with: Lucy.

Lucy. Lucy.

All the while inconspicuously hiding her teddy bear robot behind her.

In actuality, Val did not have friends, she only had Lucy. In her spare time she would go to the park and work on Lucy, without her step mom ever finding out about her friendless life. That was until she found her mom strolling around in the same park.

Val quickly hid Lucy behind her, and when in the process of doing so, her step mom had noticed her.

Val was greeted by the usual names of endearment like, 'hey sweetie.' and such. And of course, she would ask: "Where's Lucy?"

In that moment, she wondered what would become of Lucy if her step mom ever found out. She started to sweat profusely. In an instant she brought up a pointed index finger at some random stranger, "Th- There's Lucy.." 

Her step mother arched an eyebrow at the stranger.

".... That's Lucy?"
