Okay hear me out on this (and this is a big hear me out): What if Ezran and Aanya were exes in Arc 3? Seven years is a long time, what if they had a whirlwind romance at like 16 and then a really bad break up? Something to consider.

I like to think that when Aanya and Callum met again after the final battle, girl put him in his place. Because she knows what him leaving did to Ezran. She heard what he said to Ez. Hell, she protected Ezran! As the younger sibling herself (who was probably raised by Grark), that hit her too. Because no brother should act that way, and she cares about Ezran, which elevates her emotions. I really wanted to see Aanya be mad at Callum. Even if it was just a side glare or firing an arrow in his direction in 7x02 as the boat was leaving.
