everything that michaelangelo has ever projected seems to be fucking manly and bulky
like, even his architecture has such a strong, big and fleshy detail it resembles muscles. look at the palace of conservatores:
THIS SHIT IS HUGE, BUT EVERTHING ABOUT IS HUGE AS WELL
i like that about him, this type of attitude. the guy didn't give a shit about classical proportion and harmony, despite knowing it.
and i know not many people see him as a great painter, but i admire that about him as well, because i generally like sculpture-like painting. here's what i mean (it's tondo doni):
i can't describe it, but any art this guys seems to make somehow reminds me of a tense muscle
