super busy this weekend---working overtime (like the previous three weekends) to help account for the super long weekend i will be taking at the end of this coming week... to go visit my homestay family!

speaking of, i decided i am definitely challenging the JLPT (japanese language proficiency test) before i leave---i would like to aim for level 5 in january (which is the lowest, of 1-5), but it’s the first day that my friends are planning to come into visit from the states/australia soooooo 😱 we shall see. i may have to take it in december, which---at that point---i may aim for level 4, which could be incredibly risky.

now that it’s all coming to pass, everyone and their mother is realizing that it’s almost the worst possible timing ever, tbh. I TOTALLY GET IT. for me, personally, it’s because as soon as we enacted this awesome weekend of wonder, i suddenly took on five consecutive weekends of overtime---only interrupted by a single weekend (jelsa weekend), which is actually a 3-day-long trip to middle-of-nowhere-japan to reunite with my japanese homestay family i am going to be so happy and crying all weekend 😭😭😭😭😭😭 believe me, i totally get it.
HOWEVER (!!)
even if i don’t have four whopping one-shots produced, i will still be posting something for each day! a ficlet, a drabble, a chapter update---i encourage everyone to do the same! even if it’s not as much as you expected or hope for (#lifehappens), try to post something anyway! honestly, all this is is just a giant damn party of jelsa community love ❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️ still going to be so happy and crying all weekend for real, just post something!
