My Kids Are Headed to Therapy “It is enough for the student to be like his teacher." Matthew 10:25 "You are enough as a mother when you act like your Redeemer, dear one. When you talk like he talked, love like he loved, forgive like he forgave, and teach like he taught." I believe it IS enough, to love my children as Jesus loves me. The hard part is loving like Jesus. Not over reacting, not yelling over all the noise and chaos. Not losing my temper. Sometimes our house gets so loud, I can barely hear myself think. Sometimes the whinging or crying of an older child is so grating, it is hard not to use harsh words just go get it to stop. It is so easy for patience to fly out the window when the children are yelling and screaming and fighting for the fiftieth time before eight am. My struggle isn't in knowing whether being like Jesus is enough. My struggle is how do I become like Jesus to my children?
