Cole had been out of the apartment all day, but that wasn’t that unusual. In fact, when he arrived back at the flat he shared with Jenna it was earlier than he should have been. Cole should have been working at the precinct. He called in after hearing the news about his father and was granted personal leave. Cole had spent part of the day arranging an alliance with Alexa and the rest of the day drinking his sorrows away. He wasn’t drunk but the alcohol could easily be smelt on his breath. Part of Cole had been avoiding Jenna, knowing that telling her what had happened would make it seem more real somehow. He placed the keys in the dish near the door and listened out to see if he could hear Jenna moving around.

Cole didn't spend a lot of time in the apartment he shared with his longtime girlfriend. When Cole wasn't working he off making a name for himself, earning people's trust and proving his was capable of being alpha. Even when he was home that didn't mean Jenna was. Both their jobs required irregular hours. In the past, the lack of time the two got to spend with each other would have bothered Cole, and to a certain degree, it still did. Cole just saw it as a necessary sacrifice for the good of the pack. He cared for Jenna, yes, and as part of the pack she came first. As an individual, she came second to the pack. Cole was going to be taking over their home pack soon, and that is just how things had to be. At least, in his eyes anyway. Not only that but Cole knew they were having issues, he wasn't stupid. The less time the two spent together the longer the two could go without having to address them.
Cole entered their home, chucking his keys into a small glass bowl kept near the door - an addition Jenna made because Cole was always forgetting where he put them. Last he knew Jenna was working and Cole presumed he would be spending the evening alone. Heading towards the kitchen to start on some dinner Cole heard movement from the living room. As he headed towards he caught Jenna's scent. "I thought you were working," He commented as he entered the room, not showing any inclination to whether he was happy to see her home or not.

Going for a walk || Jenna & Lucas
Lucas had to admit he had been quite bored ever since he got there but he had found a way to deal with that. He read a little, even if he didn't like it. He danced a little, even if he had no room in his dorm. He even watched t.v even if there was absolutely not show that he truly liked. There were some comedy ones but Lucas was never one to spend much time watching t.v for it ended up boring him to death. In any other day that would have made him angry, very angry but that day, for no reason at all, Lucas just felt good. He felt totally hyped and ready to go out and do something. It didn't have to be too interesting or adventurous or eventful, he just wanted to get out of there.
The distraction presented itself in the form of a lovely Jenna. The girl was hot, he had to admit that. Whenever he met them, he just said they were pretty and all sorts of cheesy stuff like that when actually, the only word he could think about was hot. And that Jenna was. But she was also nice, which was good. Really good because it made it easier to hang out with her. So Lucas got read and made his way towards Jenna's appartment, knocking on the door as soon as he got there. "Jenna?" He said, "it's me Lucas."

She decided to let her hair drip dry, but patted it lightly with her towel. Dressing was easy, deciding instantly to just go in pajamas. Hearing that Tyson was sick made her frown and she just adored the kid way too much. It was funny how she and Jenna had barely gotten along due to the whole mess with KC but they'd found a way around it and soon the other girl became Clare's life line. They were best friends and she did what she could to help out. Shaking her head, she dressed quickly and slipped into a pair of proper slippers and rolled her eyes at herself. She was dreading if Kyle was there. He liked to tease her and he always made her nervous. They had a sort of past but it was never really clear to her and she often left it alone, not wanting to bother with it. She was bad luck, her relationships crashed and burned and she didn't need it. Being a second year student at uni, she was more into her classes and work, keeping up with her family, and making sure her friends had what they needed. That was what mattered and that was it. She didn't need complications or mishaps, she had enough crazy in her life with deadlines and grumpy bosses. Shaking her head, she grabbed her shoulder bag and keys before sliding to her kitchen. Clare was more than grateful that her roommate wasn't there. As much as she loved Greg, yes, she lived with a guy, she couldn't deal with his chatter about her life and asking her this or that and wondering when she was going to cut her hair and update her wardrobe and honestly, she got enough of it from her friends. Clare snorted and grabbed a container to pour a good amount of the soup in and put the lid on. Making sure she had her bag, keys, the soup and movies, she flipped the light switch off and quickly walked out and locked up before walking to her car. Putting everything in the passenger side, she ran around to the driver side and got in. Starting it up, she made the trip to Jenna's, completely ready for a night in without homework or worrying about who needed what and which table needed another bottle of ketchup.
