[POL ⬇️] I'm very fond of little dark ponds in the mountains, like these you canfind in the Karkonosze or Tatra Mountains in Poland. I was very happy to find one yesterday while hiking the Roaches Walk in Peak District National Park. I was even more pleased to find an ancient legend connected to the Doxey Pool 🖤 it is about an evil mermaid named Jenny Greenteeth, who sings compellingly through the mists lingering over the top of the ridge and traps unsuspecting hikers. Uwielbiam niewielkie, ciemne stawy górskie, takie, jakie można napotkać w Karkonoszach i Tatrach. Bardzo ucieszyłam się wczoraj, kiedy podczas wędrówki trasą the Roaches Walk w parku narodowym Peak District natknęliśmy się na małe, urokliwie położone jeziorko na szczycie grzbietu. Jego nazwa to Doxey Pool i związana z nim jest stara legenda, opowiadająca o złej syrenie, Jenny Greenteeth, która swym zniewalającym śpiewem zwodziła niczego nie spodziewających się wędrowców. Niektórzy ponoć nadal słyszą jej głos poprzez mgły często zalegające wokół skał. Lubicie takie mity i podania ludowe?
