I was just talking about that w a friend, let's start a petition to turn hypmic into an otome hahaha

Honestly, I would be down for this as a fan made thing!

I understand that otome isn’t the platform the makers of hypmic chose, and that they wanted to have the rapping and battles be the main focus, and that’s totally great - I support it 100%. It’s great that they’re giving the seiyyus/rappers more airtime to showcase their talents.

But I think it could be a cute little fan project or something to make different routes in an overarching story that parallels the hypmic plot! Like different blogs could write different character’s routes. It could even be like one of those otomes where you first choose the division you wanna hang with and then your choices affect who you end up having the most romance with.

And then at some point you unlock their ‘route’ and the gameplay just focuses on you and the boy (with the other characters drizzled in of course).

Idk, I’ve always loved the idea of hypmic as an otome because that’s what I originally thought it was back in 2018 when I first saw a poster of BB in an Ikebukero store whilst traveling in Japan~

Also I just play way too many otome games; it’s not okay lol

i don't make that much fanart of ut/dr but i really want to get back at it some time!! i only make a few drawings here and there tho

and what i've seen from the update that toby released (you can find more about it on the official website or even on his twt), chapter 2 is pretty much done - the team only needs to give it a few notchs here and there (it might be done around december i think)

and chapter 3 already has some progress as well!! (but then again) toby said he'll only officially release dr when ALL chapters are done and complete, from what i remember

Do u know something abt mm webtoon being released in english? Is it being translated?

Sadly i don't know anything new, the original webtoon can be read on bookcube (only in korean though) and cheritz said they will translate it to english (and i think may be spanish too) later on.

I bought the first ten episodes when they came out and even looking at the pictures not understanding one little bit felt like heaven! 🌟🙏😸 I can only recommend it.
