ngl, i feel satisfied knowing that namjoon and the guys finally realised that oc is lying and she didn't kill mister butler– like, it's about time yall figured it out! talking about mister butler, reading the backstory really showed how much he cared for oc, and acted more of a father figure to oc when she needed it the most. i love love loooove the part where oc forced namjoon to k!ll her, finally letting them know how much the past hurt her, and im excited to see how the story's going to unfold, now that they know that oc wasn't being truthful!!!!! great piece authornim 🤩🤩
thank you bub! to be honest, a part of me almost decided to cut off the part where she forced namjoon to try and kill her but i feel like that was a crucial part of the story because namjoon got to witness her hysterical self losing her mind, so different and so broken and he may not realize it just yet but he was the reason she returned to her abuser and in turn, all these events happened that he has yet to know of. in namjoon's eyes, y/n is a composed woman who holds her walls up higher than anyone he's ever met before, and usually it takes a lot to break them down and make them go crazy in front of people they don't trust and not only did he got to witness her broken part (chapter 13) but also her losing her mind and acting hysterical.
to her, namjoon might as well have killed her when he forced her into the divorce because in truth, the girl we all knew then will never return. it's a part of y/n that has died. she was naive, too trustful, who held hopes and dreams and was kind to almost everyone, while letting others step on her and didn't know how to defend herself. even mister butler then told her that she was too kind for the world, that her kind heart was allowing people to take advantage of her, and that while kindness is good, it shouldn't be to an extent where you're literally a doormat. you can be kind and say no. you can be kind and make your boundaries known.
in her desperate attempt to force namjoon's hands, it was a cry of hatred and anger for the lost little girl that was taken advantage of and made to believe she would never be enough for them, for the world, and for herself.
y/n acted on anger and impulse for her lost self
