Another week of episodes that have missed the mark for me *sigh* for a show that does realism pretty well lately it has been anything but. My biggest issue this week is Jeong-ha and coveting fake friend puffy face Hye-hyo, they are barely friends and if they want us to believe they are friends, how about having them interact without Hye-jun there because thus far I see no relationship until they try to force it (that car scene ugh, I cringed the whole time). Despite this lack of any real foundation for friendship, Jeong-ha leaves her boyfriend who just won the biggest award of his career after struggling for years to comfort a man she barely likes???? What?

What should have happened:

Hye-hyo: You're really going to say no again?

Jeong-ha: Yes. Not just yes, but hell yes. Don't you have any other friends?

*Skips to Hye-jun with kisses and flowers*

And furthermore, after guilting her into having this pitiful dinner with him, he says that he came because he can't say no to her... what? Sir, do you have selective amnesia?? You coerced her to be here!

There is no universe where it makes sense for a girlfriend to abandon her boyfriend on his biggest day to console the crazy client who can't take no for an answer. Hye-hyo did need someone to comfort him but it 67786543% should not have been her.

For honestly telling Hye-hyo that he only has an issue with the comparison now because he's on the short end of it, never had an issue when Hye-jun was the one who was being belittled. Then further shattering him by saying that Hye-jun didn't even have time to be jealous because he wasn't living a rich cushy life provided by rich parents. The reality check he needed.

I keep watching for Park Bo Gum is who killing it in all his scenes, grandpa who continues to be the best ever, and with the hope that PSJ will keep showing up but it's sad that a show I had really high hopes for us just frizzing off for me.

Have no real idea where this show is going anymore but I'm so happy that Hye-jun thanked his grandpa only, nobody else was truly as supportive. His father's face was priceless and I'll keep watching this show just to see him suffer 🙃

If Hye-jun and Jeongha end up breaking up since they keep teasing that I just want him to get a nice house for him and Grandpa🥺 all they need is each other.

Me realizing that RoY probably only got the characters together so quickly so they could torture us earlier and make everything go wrong. Like Hye-hyo where are you seeing a chance bro? WHERE. Jeong-ha couldn't care less about you🙄 please stop being so self-absorbed and privileged, it's off-putting. Just hurry up and find out that your mommy is the reason for your "success" and be humble already.

But most importantly, nothing I mean nothing better happen to grandpa. I will riot. Literally take any other character *cough his trash father or older brother cough* Hye-jun needs someone unequivocally on his side and I need more scenes of them holding hands🥺 even if the main couple falls apart just let his grandpa be there to hold him. Please writers. Do the right thing.
