I think we queers can be a little too judgemental about slash. Yes, most slash fans ignore the real queer characters in favor of imagined gay relationships between ostensibly straight characters. That probably has more to do with the two dimensional depictions of those gay characters AND their relationships rather than a whitewashing of homosexuality by objectifying straight boys. In other words, lighten the fuck up & ship Sterek...and demand Randy gets more screen time.
