You know it's sad when I watch these Alexis and Gregory scenes and I go "Where tf is her terrorist ex boyfriend?!!! Bring Jerry back!!!"

I dropped GH months ago (did it for clear skin folks) but every once in a while Autymn would DM me and rant to me about spoilers or update me on what’s going on and we’d still call out the mess that the show is in (and not the kind of soapy mess you want a soap to be in) and we’d discuss what storylines to do, how to improve characters.

And not to brag but we should be head writers lol. Currently we are pitching to ourselves about how GH should bring back Jerry Jacks since they clearly aren’t going back on Julexis after they ruined them, and make Jerry Jacks Sam’s nemesis instead of making him about Jason and Sonny - because that storyline back in 2008 with Sam/Jerry (and Jason I suppose) was great, I honestly didn’t mind Jason being involved at the time, until suddenly Jerry’s evil plans were all about Jason and his only issue with Sam was that she was with Jason when that was never what Sam/Jerry was about before.

Also in this scenario, we pitched Jerry getting on with Molly, Kristina and Alexis, but just not Sam.

STTA here, yeah I agree with you about previous villains being so much better than current. The main reason being that they had layers. For example, when Jerry poisoned the water supply but gave Joss and Alexis an antidote. That’s layers, I mean yeah he wanted to kill all of PC, but Jerry cares for some people. Not to mention, I love how he and Helena were thick as thieves. Whenever they try to pull that Helena was scared of Valentin, I only think she was scared at how stupid he was lol.

Exactly, the villains were complex. Shiloh was one dimensional when you compare him to other baddies we’ve seen. I think back to that interview Coby did I mentioned before, and he’s saying all these things to make Shiloh have the depth and layers we’ve seen others get and it never showed up on the screen. Not his fault, the writers never gave him that material. Like if Sam was telling the truth, Shiloh’s dad didn’t give a damn about him. Why not show us the emotional pain he carried from being unwanted? He said Shiloh wants to be better but again we never saw that. We never saw a gentler side to him, these flashes of good. And then he sai Shiloh saw Drew as some light in his darkness, inspiring him to be better. Shiloh respected Drew and was most honest with him. Excuse me, when lol? Whether it’s making a villain somewhat sympathetic or allowing you to understand their mindset or making them charming, the writers failed with Shiloh. The depth wasn’t there and they made him a sexual predator. Plus it’s ridiculous that he was getting away with this much for so long. That’s the thing I really hate. I’m all for a bad guy embracing his dark side, but at least make him more allusive. And lol Helena in hell shaking her head at the gaping holes in all of Valentin’s master plans.

I was about to post that I think it’s Jerry lol. Well I hope it’s Jerry. Whether we get Sebastian Roché back idk. But I did also wonder if it was Peter she was talking to? Faison told Jason that since he was in town impersonating Duke, it was Peter’s job to get him to Helena. So maybe it was also Peter’s job to get Drew to her?
