ok i need your help/advice ok so im bisexual and im dating a guy- lets call him jerry and my best friend who is also bi has a crush on me so i havent talked to jerry in about a week because he was on vacation with no internet so he got back today and he messaged me and i was freaking out bc i was really happy so i told my best friend and now shes mad at me bc i told her what do i do
i think your best friend just needs to respect that you don’t have the same feelings towards her as she does to you, and that you are dating someone? she needs to put her feelings aside for one moment and find happiness in your happiness rather than get angry at you? like, understandably, i can see why she may want you to talk about jerry to someone else but at the same time, getting mad is no way to go about asking for you to do so! :c even if she is upset...If i were you i would just say ‘talk to me’ like understanding how she feels is so important and maybe you two could find a easy way to talk/not talk about jerry or maybe a way for her to move on but still keep your best buddy feelings going? use your words. she may be a best buddy to you but even platonic relationships need communication! <3
