Image description: A Rube-Goldberg machine with twelve labeled steps. The text "jerry-rigging what I was given into a patchjob for what I lack" is written with one word on each step. "jerry-rigging" is made up of three cut pieces of text, "jerry-rig", "g", and "ing". The text "This requires far too much effort to constitute a shortcut, if you ask me." borders the bottom of the collage. End description.
Text is from Anguish of the Marrow.
Some people don’t have access to all those fancy large diameter bits needed to get the job done. Sometimes you have to make your own tools to get it done. (disclaimer: I didn’t make them, nor did I use them) #journeymansubstationelectrician #ibew #rockkicker #jerryrigging #jerryriggingatitsfinest (at Tavernier, Florida) https://www.instagram.com/p/CZNImE3Ph91o3srsmvXUnvlFOoXImmxZvm55EA0/?utm_medium=tumblr
New Car...New Experience
Now have a four door car. But what is newer isn’t always better. Does worse on gas... luckily gas is cheap right now. Not going to abandon this project, however the new focus will be on living in poverty (for a while). Expect DIY stuff or access to resources or how and where to find free ish... STAY TUNED!

There's a chance I might get a new computer in February, and whether I do or don't, it was good motivation to get my desk cleaned up. This is the tidiest it's been since the first week it was installed, probably.
This is half of the "walk-in" closet in my bedroom (you literally take one step in, and there were rods to either side.) One rod and shelf was taken out and replaced with an assortment of Ikea parts. The shelves and brackets are used as intended, but the wire shelves to the right are supposed to be kitchen spice shelves. The desk itself is trimmed down from a DIY desktop that was marked down to $10 in the as-is section in Charlotte, and is held up by 1x2 cleats screwed into the wall studs. It's been working out pretty awesomely, and I don't have a big-ass desk taking up real estate in my actual bedroom.
