In the 20s, breaking into the electrical industry wasn’t easier for Black Americans. But Sam Taylor did it In 1922, he founded Taylor Electric—the first Black-owned construction company in Chicago and now one of the oldest IBEW signatory contractors nationwide. #BlackHistoryMonth
