With the way Jason talks to Merwin (calling him 'old man', his dimpled smirk, the head tilt), Merwin’s response, and the way Jason stands up for Merwin when he’s being rude to Eric… (੭*ˊᵕˋ)੭

My headcanon is that before Jason meets Salim, these two are friends with benefits/in a fling relationship because Merwin has a sexy ass voice that Jason is attracted to and Merwin sees Jason as a hot piece of ass. Idk. These’s just something about them… ꒰´꒳`∗꒱

i’m really feeling a harry potter AU for in a heartbeat where sherwin ends up messing up a spell meant to show him his heart’s desire (in like an image or something) because his friends are convinced it’s just a phase and “what would your parents think, sherwin?” and it ends up with his heart popping out of his chest and still chasing jonathan down and outting sherwin but it’s all good (and sherwin’s parents put money on him being outed anyways).

In a heartbeat headcanons

So if you don't know about @inaheartbeat it's this short film about two boys and there's love and I'm hella excited for it so here's headcanons about my ship Jerwin:

•Jonathan calls Sherwin 'Sherbert' because it's adorable and it makes Sherwin completely flustered

•Sherwin needs reading glasses, you can pry this from my cold dead fangirl hands

• Sherwin spends a lot of time in that tree from the trailer and he usually goes there to calm down after a panic attack because(headcanon: he has anxiety)

•Jonathan likes to nap and when he does he'll lay next to Sherwin and play with his hair until they both end up falling asleep

•Valentines day was a spectacle because Jonathan's family (who are probably super rich) pushed him to get Sherwin something big and he got him a huge card with a heart that looks like Shirley(the heart from the trailer that I headcanon got them together) and Sherwin nearly cried ;). Also Sherwin got a framed selfie of them and Jonathan's was like 'I love this boy'

•Jonathan bakes but Sherwin is crap and he tries to help. His cookies always burn but he hardly notices and he's just crunching burnt cookies and he offers Jonathan one and he can't say no so Jonathan is chocking down a hard cookie and trying to smile (omg I love these boys)

• Sherwin's a huge nerd and loved DnD but Jonathan has no idea how to play so it's Sherwin trying to teach his boyfriend how to play what Jonathan calls the most complicated game ever.

•Sherwin sleeps curled up and is totally little spoon when they nap together and Jonathan is shook because Sherwin is super adorable and Jonathan loves brushing the curls out of his face

• Jonathan is captain of almost every thing at their school. Soccer, Art club, student body president. Sherwin is mad jealous cause all he does is yearbook. He does cheer on Jonathan at his games and everyone's surprised because this kid whose always quiet at the back of class is now shouting at the top of his lungs for his boyfriend.

•Most of the school became shippers of Jerwin save for some homophobic losers and some girls who want Jonathan or Sherwin to themselves. (the best guys in school dating isn't cool for their market cause how will they find hot guys)

• The heart(Shirley) is still around (like a guardian angel or something) and they are number 1 Jerwin trash.

• Jonathan can ride a skateboard but Sherwin won't even attempt to step on one without a helmet and shoulder/knee pads

• Sherwin is an only child but I feel like Jonathan would have a big family with a dozen siblings

• Sherwin has a sketchbook for the sole purpose of drawing Jonathan and he's had it since before they were dating and he's super embarrassed about it

• Sherwin's heart likes to eat crackers and don't ask why I just feel like it would sit on Sherwins shoulder and munch on some graham crackers (like a parrot) bc why not?

Ha! I just saw @perfectackeracy​ refer to him as “Jerwin”. I’m sold!

You most certainly are not the only person who thought that. In panels like the one below, I felt like Isayama wasn’t even trying to be subtle.

It’s not just how he looks. He’s shown standing up to the Marleyan captain and speaking up despite the impropriety of being an Eldian. Even Jerwin’s leadership abilities were mentioned. By all appearances, this is cut and paste Erwin.

I think it's too soon to compare Colt with Erwin, besides the looks. We barely know anything about Colt yet. I would even say he's the opposite of Erwin, since Colt seemed worried & against the idea of sacrificing 800 soldiers to fulfill their mission,& wanted to use titans even if that was risky & not smart (bc of the special cannons). Erwin would have seen the whole picture & taken the hardest but wisest choice, & would have sacrificed those soldiers if that mean winning (he's done it before).

I know some people see more Jean than Erwin in “Jerwin”, so maybe the nickname is perfect. 

Jerwin is younger and more idealistic than the Erwin we see leading the suicide charge. But young Erwin was also idealistic and willing to argue with superiors if he thought it would save lives. We get some of that in the OVAs

True, Erwin was a gambler and reckless, but let’s also not forget that he developed the long distance scouting formation in an effort to save lives. His death count was the lowest of any previous commander until the appearance of the Shifters. That was the game changer. New enemies meant old tactics no longer worked. Erwin was devising plans in lose-lose situations without the information he needed to make the “right” choices. Let’s face it. No one would’ve wanted his job.

(and forget the facts... if I didn’t make the comparison I wouldn’t have all these asks about Erwin so it’s a win for me:DD)

I don’t think Jerwin is going to be replacing Zeke anytime soon. Zeke is likely plot relevant since he’s a direct descendent of the royal Fritz line. If Eren is going to unlock the coordinate, he’s gonna need the help of his half-bro.

But I do think it would be super interesting if Levi and Jerwin meet on the battlefield. If faced with killing him, would the resemblance to Erwin cause Levi to hesitate? For Levi, it would have to be like looking into the past and seeing the young squad leader he first met in the underground.
