Gets very homesick for Novyi Zem, and for Kerch whenever he has to leave.
Very, very attached to the other crows and wherever he's calling home at the given moment.
He doesn't really settle in to the Van Eck Mansion, not right away (but he pretends he does). When he finally does he starts bringing a lot of his Zemeni background and little reminders of Aditi to leave around..
Wylan actively encourages Jesper to talk about Aditi - Jesper loves talking about his mama and Wylan loves to listen.
He thinks of the crows as his family (Nina and Inej as sisters, Kaz as his brother, etc.) but doesn't realy bond with Matthias for a while. The Drüskelle thing really throws him off and Jesper & Matthias are such polar opposites, he doesn't know how to interact with him for a while.
Loves gardening and has a garden somewhere around the mansion.
Lots of indoor plants as well - they all have special names with name tags and pots (mostly ones Inej has made for him).
