I hope this popularity stems to Jesse too since Control didn't seem all that popular. She had a really good trailer too when it first came out.
Nonetheless, I also hope Jesse is playable like in Alan Wake II. Two parts of a story. :)

Emily sneaks into Jesse's room, wanting to see her for how little time they have together.
I was listening to one of Jesse's therapy sessions (Polaris) with her psychiatrist, and her psychiatrist brought up a poet named Thomas Zane, except she had never heard of a Thomas Zane besides a filmmaker. And she thought that Jesse might've made it up herself, but Jesse is sure she hadn't.
This reminded me of some videos on yt about parallel worlds, that some people or theories or stories that they say some thing's are different than what they remember. Like they know an entire country but that country doesn't exist in our world, so they must've come from another parallel world where it did exist.
And if this is the case with Jesse remembering this poet that is actually a film maker. It must in some way mean that Jesse had crossed over into another parallel world where Thomas Zane is actually a film maker and not a poet. That she's not part of this world, and she's stuck in a parallel world of the one she came from, and hasn't realized it.
Although, thinking about it, this game is full of parallel worlds and time not being completely linear.
Like the pictures changing when she became Director. Wearing clothes she hadn't worn yet, although down the line she will.
Killing a parallel version of herself (mirror version).
Showing up at the Bureau right on time the moment the current Director is killed.
She's rarely shocked by anything (besides speaking about it somewhat with Emily). Feels good in her situation, and not wanting to leave.
I always forget to write more control fics with Jesse/Emily. I should... figure that out soon. :)
Hahaha I never noticed that the “Take a ticket” number was 665 which would make Jesse 666!
There’s also a chicken on one of the magazines on the rack to the left and that made me laugh. Control has so great little gags and Easter eggs like this! I want to share more of the ones I’ve caught eventually! (This is the hall leading to the Director’s office btw)
I secretly hope one of the Control DLCs confirm my personal headcannon that Dylan and Jesse are the same person from different dimensions.and one of them is from a different place in slide projectors.
It’s just a head cannon, I have no proof or exciting tidbits on it. Dylan just says something in his cell once you find him that made me think about it.
