1. If you were of the opposite gender, what name would you want to have? Oh, this is hard…maybe Matthew? That’s my favorite male name and I quite like the meaning.
2. If you could witness any historical event in person, which one would it be and why? I’d like to be in the room when Watson and Crick realized that DNA had a double helical structure. Besides the fact that this is one of the pivotal moments of my field, I’d love to study their thought process and discover how they came to this epiphany. Maybe I could use this knowledge to have an epiphany of my own. Who knows?
3. What kind of sandwich best describes your personality? Nutella-raspberry jam. Depending on your perspective, it can be off-putting or overwhelming or exactly what you needed. At first taste, all you get is sweetness, but then you find that the flavors are deeper and more nuanced. The raspberry jam lends a bright, elegant, slightly tart and gritty flavor, and the chocolate-hazelnut provides a rich nutty base. Hey, I am a bit nutty!
4. If your crush or significant other were to turn into a ferret, what would you do? Would you still like/love them? Answered!
5. If you became dictator of your country, and you can enact one law that could not be repealed once you are forcibly removed from office, what would that law be? Wow, I love how it’s just assumed that people would hate me enough to forcibly remove me. I shall have you know that I would be a very benevolent overlord! That being said, I think I’ll go with equal wages for men and women of all ethnicities for the same job done.
6. What is your opinion of Canada? This is such a multifaceted question. I hate its climate, but I think that socially and politically, they have a lot of good ideas, especially where healthcare is concerned. I don’t really know enough to give detailed arguments, but I like the gist of it.
7. What is your spirit animal? Dog, but anyone who’s talked to me for more than 15 minutes could probably come to that conclusion. I feel dogs on a soul level.
8. If you could change your skin color to anything outside of the natural palette of skin colors, what color would you choose? Answered!
9. What was the last movie you chose not to watch? Like, never watch, or just at that moment? I’m gonna say 50 Shades of Gray. Just because this is the newest one.
10. If you were a farmer, what would you grow? Tomatoes. All of them. All day every day. Love me some tomatoes. :D
