“Freeze! Miami Vice!” Tubbs shouts as she approaches the suspect. Her Smith & Wesson Bodyguard special is tucked tightly within her hands. She sincerely hopes she won’t have cause to use it. However, it was hard to tell with people who enjoyed breaking, entering, and stealing.

Cautiously the Vice Detective hedges forward to apprehend him. Her one hand remains affixed around the gun whilst the other reaches for her silver cuffs. “You want to explain to me what you’re doing here? I mean, its not exactly like they’re handing out invites for a grand opening, man.” The store was closed today. The sign on the door clearly proclaimed it.

“The empire of Great Britain,” Azrael announced. 

She didn't look at all uncomfortable in the freezing arctic wind sweeping across King William Island, despite being only dressed in a black silk mourning dress. In fact, Azrael did not even shiver as she lit her opium pipe, shielding the match with one hand. Yet, in the same environment, men in winter clothes could so easily die of hypothermia or become horribly disfigured by frostbite. It was a desolate place, where only those capable of quick adaption survived. But Azrael just sat there, as a woman of high-standing would sit in a parlour. 

“Which is why you are here, and your entire crew is dead,” Azrael added.

              “You still look like shit, by the way.”  Amos was’t exactly known for sugar coating things, and maybe he could’ve phrased it a different way if he really wanted, but -- Miller was probably used to it by now and, if nothing else, the empty glass shoved across the table might be enough to make up for it.  If not, the half empty bottle of alcohol that Amos set onto the table between them should cover the rest.

Who is the restless sleeper? William, even when he was younger he was far the more restless sleeper. Dolores never quite realized that until 30 or more years later. 

Who eats cereal for dinner? Prior to even knowing the Delos, I suspect having cereal for dinner was something William did in college and starting out in his career. After Juliet’s death he refused to regress to such a staple. 

Who wears odd socks? William used to, there were cute socks that Emily gave him that he wore at home until she graduated high school. Slowly but surely, they were discarded due to wear and anything Emily got him remains unwrapped.

Who reads more? William. Comparatively so. Dolores sees reading as a tool, William sees reading as everything growing up.

Who prefers a bath over a shower? Dolores can’t stomach the idea of baths after years of being never properly sanitized, William avoids baths as well, with the preference of showers. 

Who can knit? Dolores. She mostly hides it 

Who has the weirder laugh? Younger William. Older William laughing is frightening as hell. 

Who gets more jealous? W I L L I A M. Jimmi Simpson pretty much explains that’s William’s character arc when Dolores’ mind wiped. He can’t control the girl so he controls the company in his vain attempt. It’s William’s level of jealousy that Dolores is afraid of evoking in herself. 

Who sleeps with a teddy bear? Neither.

Who still uses internet explorer? Don’t give William this bullshit, he grew up in the generation where they MOCKED internet explorer.  

Who is the most sentimental? William in the most destructive of ways. Dolores has a better time at letting go if not confronted. 

Who can play an instrument? Dolores, but she never plays in front of William anymore. 

Who has the worst sense of direction? William knows he has a far better sense of direction on Day Two of Actually Talking to Dolores. Even when Ford corrects her sense of direction, 30 years of seeing Dolores wandering aimlessly through the park makes William cautious.

Who cooks breakfast? William.

Who is the early riser? Both.

This felt wrong. Pulling away from a hospital in a car with her dad and not her mom felt like a mistake. Yes her mom had been spiralling and had struggled the past few years but this seemed like too much, like an overreaction. 

She sat in silence for a bit, trying to figure out what she felt about all this before speaking, not wanting to upset her dad by questioning his choices but also wanting some more answers than she already had. 

“How long is Mom going to have to be there for?” She asked, glancing at her dad as he drove, glad he’d at least let her come to say goodbye.

As all new employees needed to be issued their security cards and be given a more in-depth tour as to the areas they had access to, it was a perfect opportunity to introduce himself. Stubbs examined the face on the ID card and matched it to a young man who had just exited the train to the facility.

“Kalevi?” He questioned while approaching with a smile and a hand outstretched for shaking. “I’m Ashley Stubbs, head of park security. I needed to give you your employee card and thought I could give you a better tour than orientation could.”

Nathaniel, Kal was the only person who got to call him Nate, dismounted his horse and let the reins drag. The android ‘host’ had just been brought online officially a few hours before, finally out for ‘real world’ testing. So far as he knew, the programmer with him as his childhood best friend and the robot wanted to show him every corner of his world. “Still think it’s better back home o’course, but, it’s like looking at a painting from all the way up here.”
