When Reno wakes he's horrified. Scared. He doesn't know what the fuck happened to his body and he scrambles to find Valentine with the pallor of a ghost on his features. Billowing bright wings drag low, as does the whiptail and there are scales all over. His jaw, across the bridge of his nose, horns that curve back and up, he doesn't have fingers anymore, claws. He doesn't see the beautiful deep wine reds and burnt orange and rusted yellows that dance across the scales of his back, arms and legs. It's too hard to balance on the new taloned digigrade feet, and when he topples he catches himself on his hands and scrambles. There's nothing graceful about the movement at all as panicked claws dig grooves into the floor. He's trapped and cornered and scared, he can't move right. He tucks himself away into the corner of the living room, wings pulled about himself to hide and spined whip tail coiling about his feet as his heart refuses to stop racing faster than he can breathe to keep up with it. "CHAOS!! CHAOS HELP ME!!! VINCENT!! VINCE!"
