hadn’t thought about this and honestly ? I can kinda see it. Scout did something stupid, Medic irritatedly patches him up, and then sends Scout off with an annoyed expression just a little too similar to what Scout’s Ma would give him whenever he did something like this and an involuntary “thanks Ma” tumbles out. Scout avoids Medic like the plague for the next three weeks (x2 embarrassment points if they’re dating !). Demo also does something stupid and while Medic’s fixing *him*, he’s going on a rant not unlike what Demo’s Mum would do. same thing happens jdhsjf
also I was trying to think of who might call Medic “dad” and I just now realized how many of the mercs have dead/absent/shitty fathers. it’s like half the team- writers at Valve, are you okay ?
