The honking of the car horn as the signal on the crosswalk turned simultaneously nearly made Navy jump out of her skin. Crossing the street, tossing the car a wave she shook her head as the grin she'd forced had fallen; she was clearly irritated. Yet, as she stood on the opposite sidewalk, her own heartbeat beating a little faster than she'd anticipated she sighed, but not before making eye contact with @jj-hayes. "Oh, JJ, hi." she smiled, offering him a wave. "I will say it's nice to see a familiar face; that car was clearly very irritated that I was walking when I was supposed to and it nearly ruined my entire day if I'm being honest."
