Ashley rolled around on her bed, pout on her face. She didn't have any plans for the evening apart from staying in her sorority. It wasn't such a bad plan, specially since it wasn't the weekend, but Ashley was bored nevertheless. She sent a few texts to random people, hoping some of them would be willing to do something for the evening, maybe watch a movie or just grab something to eat together. She wanted to talk to someone too, but she didn't really have anyone to really talk to. Her best friend from high school, who usually acted as her confident even from the other side of the world, was away on a trip too, so there was no way Ashley could talk to her now.
She stood up from her bed and walked out of her room. She knew there wasn't anyone else in the sorority house, all of her sisters in their classes or societies, and Ashley sighed deeply. She wished they would come back soon, she hated being alone. She walked into the wide living room and threw herself in the big couch, turning on the television. After zapping a little, she turned it off, not finding anything interesting in it. She puffed out her cheeks as she stared into her phone, taking a few selcas out of absolute boredom. She was in the middle of posting them to her Instagram when she heard someone calling the doorbell.
Who was it? All of her sisters had keys to the sorority and, just in case they some time forgot, they had one hidden in between two of the wall bricks. It was quite a strange hour for someone to come visit too. Frowning slightly, Ashley stood up from the couch and walked to the main door, peeking through the peephole. She couldn't recognize who exactly it was, but she opened the door nevertheless.
"Hi? Are you looking for someone?" She said with a soft smile as she looked at the girl standing in front of her. It reminded her of someone, but she couldn't quite pinpoint who, and she kept wondering as she waited for the other's response.
