I think I remember reading somewhere that forcefully removing jiki can damage the tanga and that changes how a kraizen / vani behaves. Been thinking about making a vani with something like that where they go from being a cruel individual before jiki removal and more..idk sweet and nice silly baby.. Would this be possible? And if not, could you perhaps go in more depth? am curioud :0

Tanja damage caused by Jiki is genuine brain damage, and I'd liken it more to a lobotomy. it isn't going to make a cruel person gentle and sweet, it'll probably actually make them crueler or more paranoid or simply more unpredictable. probably also cause a lot of seizures

i definitely would NOT use a serious brain damage affliction like Jiki/Jiki removal to show a character going from cruel to nice, i think it would be more impactful and meaningful to show them genuinely improving through story and events. and also wouldn't be a biiitttt on the infantilizing side for people with brain damage

tldr; it's extremely traumatic brain damage, and the behavior change is from said brain damage, and it isn't a personality scrambler
