Dear Canadian Teen Book Lovers,
Snowbound today due to all the snow Toronto got, making it the perfect reading day. There's something so peaceful about being curled up with a good book by a window and watching the snow fall gently in the background.
Tomorrow I have some exciting news for when I tape my weekly book chat - but you'll have to watch to find out.
My book for today was "Home Truths" by Jill MacLean. Wow. Unlike Nix in "Nix Minus One" Brick is not the most sympathetic character at first, but MacLean's expert story-telling lets readers see his sensitive side. Loved it.
I'm putting up a picture of the book's title page because I realised after I finished it that it was a signed copy.
