3 weeks to go!

Day One’s prompts are themed after flowers! Let’s go over the prompts and hopefully spark some inspiration! These are only suggestions, you can use the prompts in any way you like. You don’t even have to really follow the prompts if nothing inspires you.

Trope: Floral Soulmate Mark

Any kind of soulmate AU revolving around florals would do here. Maybe our lovebirds can smell the other’s favorite flower or has a mark of their favorite flower, maybe they can only get their soulmate’s favorite flower to grow or one touch prevents them from wilting, maybe they have matching flower tattoos that appeared, maybe any time one thinks of the other, a flower tattoo appears temporarily. The possibilities are endless

AU: Florist AU

Anything involving a florist. The obvious choice here is that Jim is a florist, but Freddie could also work for a florist or maybe they meet in a florist shop, maybe one sends the other flowers to try to date him.

Song: “Your Kind of Lover”

Whatever this song by Freddie inspires! Maybe you like a lyric from the song, maybe instead they dance to the song, maybe you just want to use the title or a lyric as the title.

Quote: “Life is the flower for which love is the honey.”

Maybe you can make a mood board inspired by these lyrics! Or even draw them surrounded by flowers together. Their love is sweet and whole, so this prompt really fits a lot! The options are unlimited!

Two weeks out!!!

Day 2: Ruby!

Like last week, we will go over the colour theme of the event: Ruby!

Rose Tinted Glasses:

The act of seeing a relationship as all good and all okay when things may not be how it actually is. This prompt can be quite angsty if you wanted. Maybe something detailing how Jim sees Freddie, even in the last days. Or maybe this prompt is telling of how their relationship ilhas always been. It's always been good and that's all that matters. It's up to you!

Red String of Fate:

You could use this prompt as literally or figuratively as you wanted. The Red String of Fate originated from East Asian mythology where an unbreakable red thread connects two people who are meant to be together. Maybe you want to use it as a soulmate au or as a story-within-a-story jumping point. Maybe you want something more literal and want to write them tying a red string on each other. You could draw them connected by the red string or have them wear red string. Whatever you like.

“The Great Pretender”:

This song prompt is based off the cover Freddie did of the song of the same name by the Platters (1955). The song details how happy someone appears when, in fact, he is very sad and lonely. Maybe that can be the precursor to Freddie and Jim getting together. Or have Him listening to the song and Freddie assuring him that he hasn't once thought he was lonely when Jim was around.

“There’s no place like home.” :

The classic quote from "The Wizard of Oz". When Dorothy taps her heels together and closes her eyes and wishes to go home. This is perfect for Freddie being away from his beloved Jim and wishing he were home. Or maybe Jim thinking it after Freddie has passed. Either way, they are each other's home!
