I'd like to use this page to apologize to a Jim from an RP a long time ago. We wrote for five hours and it was completely engaging and then a plot twist that Jim wasn't who he seemed to me, that Moriarty was someone else, and wondered if Sherlock still found him as fascinating. My internet cut out right around then. It probably looked like I didn't like the storyline and bailed but that wasn't the case at all, so to that Moriarty writer of long ago: I remember you, I'm sorry, and thank you.

I don’t know if this is perhaps the most ideal platform to do this from, but sure haha.

I’ve got a Sheriarty soulmate prompt loosely based off of the guidelines and intro of the fanfiction Cosmic Love by equinoxjimlock, though you don’t need to have read it to understand the prompt, it’s pretty self explanatory. Not Sure What to Title, So Here

Alpha!Moriarty & Omega!Sherlock. My weakness. Thank you stranger! Also, it's rather short.

Stranger: I'm looking to be connected with one of your omegas: Sherlock Holmes. I've been in touch a few times before. My number should be on file. Kindly send him my request. JM [alpha]

You: Of course, sir. And this would be Mr. Moriarty, correct? -IA

Stranger: That's correct. JM

You: It will just be a few minutes, Sir. -IA

Stranger: Of course. JM

You: [Incoming Call : Sherlock Holmes.]

Stranger: Jim answered after a few rings, sitting back in this desk chair, letting his tea steep. "Hello, dear."

You: "James," was the soft purr that followed after, spindly fingers dragging through unruly curls as he leaned back. "I must admit that I'm just the bit surprised..."

Stranger: Jim grinned and closed his eyes, letting Sherlock's voice run through him. "And why's that, dear? You thought I'd forgotten you?"

You: "Oh, no, /nothing/ of the sort." He hummed, hands dropping to rest over his stomach. "You did say you're a /very/ busy man. How long ago was the last call?" He inquired with mock thought.

Stranger: Jim hummed softly, thinking, and leaned to pour himself a cup of tea. "Are you upset with me?"

You: "Oh, no. Of course not." Sherlock replied, head cocking to the side. "Merely curious... To what do I owe the pleasure of this call, James?"

Stranger: "Have you ever considered the possibility that I like it when you're curious?" Jim asked, voice dropping with a note of mild mockery. "Tell me how they've been treating you."

You: "No. Not many people do. Why would you?" He questioned with rhetoric only to roll his eyes at the last request. "That's nothing important... How are you?"

Stranger: Jim sipped his tea, inwardly groaning at the evasion. "Of course it's important," he said blankly, still not expecting an answer. "I'm fine, honey. Keeping busy. I have a few more books you might like."

You: At the mention of books, he leaned forward, the fabric of his bed rustling with the sudden movement. "Do you...? What are they on?" He asked immediately, just the bit excited by the prospect of something to keep him from going insane.

Pensive anxiety wracked upon his countenance, Sherlock Holmes' fingers drummed against his kneecap. His gaze traced along the moving streets of Conduit Street from the cab, averting his attentions from the band on his left hand.

This was a very interesting rp, though short, but the prompt really caught my eye. Thanks a ton stranger!

Stranger: [Announcement] Searching for a new flatmate, preferably someone intelligent. I am a scientist and currently working as a professor of maths and chemistry. The flat is big and modern.Two bedrooms, two studies and an oversized bathroom. 70 m(2) living room, brand new kitchen. I'm paying most of the rent. When you're interested, just contact me. - James I. Moriarty

You: I believe your request came at the most opportune time; I am searching for flat share. I am intelligent, likely would be considered a genius. I practice chemistry nearly constantly. How much is the rent? -SH

Stranger: Hello, I'm glad to hear that. Intelligence is a rarity these days. The rent depends on how bearable you are. JM

You: I play the violin, sometimes I don't talk for days, would that bother you? -SH

Stranger: Not at all. I love classic music and sometimes just disappear for a week. No needs to worry, though. Actually, I play the piano myself. I have a lot of weapons in my home, but keep them safely. Most of my time I spend preparing lessons or experimenting. JM

You: I find weapons fascinating and will attempt not to use them. However, I do experiment very often. Hopefully that wouldn't bother you. -SH

Stranger: Like I mentioned, each of us would have an own study for experiments that might be bothering because of smell, for example. I consider getting myself a puppy but might leave that if a future flatmate wouldn't be content with that. JM

You: I've no particular care so long as I am not meant to take care of it. -SH

Stranger: You wouldn't, no. Yet, everything sounds very acceptable. I think we should meet. JM

You: I will let you decide the time and place. My work keeps me very open. -SH

Stranger: What are you working as, by the way? I've got time aswell, holidays are a bless. This afternoon, Antonio's café? JM

You: A consulting detective, and the only one in the world. -SH Antonio's is perfect. Shall I meet you there within the hour, or perhaps later? -SH

Stranger: An hour is perfect, actually. Sounds interesting. You've got to tell me more about it. JM

You: I certainly will. -SH

Stranger: See you soon, then, I suppose. JM

You: See you, Professor Moriarty. -SH

Stranger: Oh, Jim, please. JM

You: Sherlock then. -SH

Stranger: It's a pleasure. JM

You: It most definitely is, Jim. -SH

Stranger: Just about a few moments later, Jim already got out of his sleek black car he'd parked in front of the café he would be meeting his eventual new flatmate. After years of living alone he'd decided to try something new and now he was curious if this Sherlock would be a good choice. He pulled of his sun glasses in a quick move while stepping into the café, looking around for a moment. There was only one man he could imagine being Sherlock. He put on a smile and walked towards him, offering him a hand. "Good day, Sherlock. Nice to meet you."

You: Fingertips thrummed along the wooden table as he waited patiently for the man he would be meeting. Cerulean eyes scanned his current surroundings, picking everything apart before drawing it all together again. At the sound of the door opening, the brunet focused on the man that entered. It was certainly Jim going by the dress and the look in his eyes. Standing as polite, Sherlock accepted the hand and gave a polite smile. "Yes, it is, isn't it? It's a pleasure to meet you, Jim." He spoke, releasing the other's hand before taking seat. "I resisted ordering as I wasn't sure what you might like."

Stranger: Pleasant, very pleasant, was Jim's first thought when he saw the man in front of him. Tall, pale, attractive and intellectual, he could tell it by the way he scanned the room. Sherlock would definetly be a nice person to spend his time with. The professional smile on his lips turning into a honest one, Jim gave him another gaze before sitting down and immediately relaxing into his seat. "My pleasure," he returned, voice smooth. "Feel free to take whatever you like, it goes on me." He smiled and winked at Sherlock, knowing that he had to share his flat with this man and no one else.
