I think this is like.. the 5th detailed figure I painted, and with each one I learn what to watch out for or try out next time, it's so much fun!

Like I'm so proud of this one, but I definitely see there should be some better contrast in the shading/lighting of purple, so I'm excited to see if I can apply this into my planning next time!

Also full disclosure that I don't know who made the sculpt for this beholder. My brother downloaded a bunch of models to test 3D printing, so atm I just paint whatever he prints lmao

I really want to eventually learn 3D modelling myself so that I can make my own little guys to colour!

Game of the year?

Morrowind, no contest. I didn't expect to like it as much as I did, but it completely enamoured me. I just recently finished the main quest and have a ton of side quests that still need my attention, there is so much to do and explore! And besides all that, the game's aesthetic is right up my alley.

Ouhh there are two notable ones I made this year, hard to pick which one to spotlight... so here's both lmao

One is Ezra, my first D&D character I made early this year!

He's a hobgoblin echo knight who, while not a stranger to crime, is overall a good guy who likes to give people a second chance (but never a third one)

The other one is Eva, my new emo dog character who is very pretty uwu

I think that most realistically, DIO 'liked' Vanilla Ice purely and only because he was of use to him. That's pretty much the reason why he ever 'liked' anyone lmao (though an argument can be made that he did actually care for Pucci)

Vanilla Ice tho? He most likely found him completely replaceable, much like Enyaba. If he actually cared about his wellbeing, he probably would've mentioned that the sun insta-kills him now 😭

honestly having experienced conventions in three countries so far, i have felt infinitely more appreciated and welcomed as an artist by slovenian and slovak cons than i did in austria where i consistently feel like artists are looked at as second-class citizens at a con, like us being there is an inconvenience they have to put up with.

tho i dont know if all artists get this treatment or just me and my friends who happen to all be slovenian, both seem equally possible.

7. three songs you didn’t expect to like but eventually loved

one i can name straight outta the bat is Goodbye To A World by Porter Robinson, which is a song i heard in a game once and it intrigued me, so when i looked it up on youtube i saw that i already half-watched it at some point. i have no memory of it, and i assume i didn't like it back then, but i definitely do now

when i first listened to Voltaire's newest album, I really didn't vibe with Kill The Beast because it played after a song i loved but it greatly clashed with its mood so i felt it 'ruined' the mood. eventually though, it really grew on me and it's definitely near my top picks from the album.

for the last one, i think i'll go with a recent addition to my music library, Connie Converse, who's music style is not something i generally holds my attention very well, but who's work surprisingly captivated me. it's just all her music in general, but let's go with Talking Like You since it seems to especially embody this entire vibe
