Jin (2k16): No, it’s not like I’m slacking. /In order for us to continue with the series named “Kagerou Daze” in an even more interesting way, we’re going through all sorts of preparations./

Ene: Hoho. What would that be, specifically?

Jin: “Kagerou Daze” has related works beside the manga. For example, in the novel, anime, etc., /the stories have developments completely different from the manga/. I’m //aiming for a means to have people enjoy them through /delicately/ /interconnecting/ these series /and the manga/ "Kagerou Daze"//, which is why we’re taking a publication break (*this was in 2k16). The latest novel volume will also be released at the end of August (2k16), though...

I’ve been kind of thinking about this lately, but I believe that there’s nothing as ordinary or formated as the rock music of nowadays. For example, I think that VOCALOID and anime songs are very much rock. Looking back on time, rock has been heavily criticised and people have said that it wasn’t music, but a lot of people were wildly enthusiastic about it. I really like this sort of culture, so I was burning at the fact that there are people who hate anime songs or VOCALOID, or who don’t even listen to them in the first place. Like, “No, there are good ones, y’know?”

Due to this, he couldn’t introduce new characters even though he’d always wanted to.

[from 2011 to 2012], all of the characters had been made. I had suddenly been told by Jin-san, “These characters will come out next, so please make as many prototypes as possible for them” and from then, we made “Konoha no Sekai Jijou”.

This is Jin, the writer. We've now made it to the illustrious ten-volume mark in the Kagerou Daze manga. It's all thanks to Mahiro-sensei's hard work and the support all of you provide. Here's hoping that you'll continue to wonder how the story will turn out. I'll keep working hard on it.
