배지연 ▌ “Rich kids schools in Gangnam then flying home every free moment. My father pretty much owned Ulleung Island. It isn’t the biggest, but he owned all the private property, for the most part. He was even the mayor,” she expressed smiling as she thought of it. “I hated it when I got older because all my friends lived in Seoul full time, but after my parents pasted and my brother and I stopped going, I missed it,” she informed the male. “So my youth was a mixture of country living and the city’s finest. I think it is what makes me so abnormal in most settings,” Jiyeon decided. “What about you?” she inquired back.
`ㅂ´ ┊Interest is piqued at how open and fondly the younger (he assumes, anyway) woman speaks on her childhood. A comfortable silence on his side as he gives her his full, undivided attention.“ Living life in two different extremes--city life and country life-- is a grand experience. It makes you well rounded, adaptable. At least I think so.” Thin pinky absently comes to graze the juncture between his nose and lips.
“Anyways, when I was young, I’d already seen a variety of worlds. I can’t remember if I ever stayed home on the weekends or kept still either for that matter.” Insert a chortle here,the fond memories enticing an even fonder smile to his peach tinged lips. “We traveled anywhere. To the mountain, beach, town, villages, hot weather, cold weather, places. Rain, sleet, snow and sunny places. My childhood was all about different kinds of experiences and different worlds. Every time we went to a new place I always thought of different things. It’s from my parent's ability to give me a variety of experiences that I was able to become an exchange student in America to better my English and the man I am today. I think you and I are similar in that we’ve seen different worlds from very young.”
