Starlight

Zeus was quite enjoying himself tonight.
Approving throughout of the tone of grandeur of the masquerade ball the King was one of the few who truly belonged at such an extravagant yet exquisite party. Tonight the god’s charm was indisputable and worked both as a magnet and a shield for others wherever he was. Whether he’d be striding from place to place, waltzing and gliding over the dance floor, or merely standing with a glass of wine in his hand with that regal posture of his everyone would feel impressed by his presence. Them either wishing they could be in his vicinity and talk to him or be him.
Yet the god spent most of his time with his demigod daughter. He was proud to show her off the crowd and to be able to give her an enjoyable evening. When his daughter made it clear that she was going to the restroom the god found himself to be standing alone at one of the tables were they served some food and drinks.
His uninterested gaze travelling over the table, his eyes caught sight of a delicate female hand with a star bracelet on her wrist. His attention being drawn to it, he looked up at the young woman’s face. Before his eyes reached it, however, he saw her silver colored hair and instantly the god got reminded of starlight. Perhaps it was solely due to the bracelet she wore, but the soft glow of it in the lights was did unmistakably resemble starlight to him.
Already having moved closer to the demigoddess, who apparently was accompanied by another god, he smiled politely at the both of them. “Hello,” when she turned her head Zeus instantly recognized the young female to be Jinsil. A mere mask was not enough to hide anyone from the Greek deity after all. “Jinsil.” He spoke he name, his own surprise about meeting her like this shimmering through in his tone. “What a lovely surprise.”
