"Wow, how does your hair...do...that?"
Expenses || Robin & Jinx
Robin was perched on the roof edge in a catlike crouch. A gust of wind sifted through his hair, flapping the ragged edges of his cape. The street below was empty beside the occasional cars and walking stragglers. Restaurants lined the sidewalks with bright neon signs, but they were getting ready to close down for the night. It was the more peaceful edge of the city, closer to residential districts.
It was also the planned route for an armored vehicle transporting money to the city’s bank vaults. They were six minutes late.
Robin’s stance shifted, tensing perceptibly as the vehicle rounded the corner at the end of the street. His elbows rested on his knees with a detonator casually held in one hand.
A lesser known fact about armored trucks was they used bomb detection technology. When it detected an explosive in the area, it killed the fuel tank remotely. The tires couldn’t be blown out either – not without the truck speeding off for another three miles. They could even withstand high temperatures. Armored vans weren’t built for offense, they were built for defense. Which meant they weren’t designed for a fight.
As the van drove over a manhole cover, Robin lifted his hand and pressed the button. The explosion sent up a thunderous bang, throwing the van up with chunks of asphalt and tendrils of fire. The rubber from other cars sent up high screeches as they swerved to stops. Robin was already diving down.
The Shock
A quirk of the girl's lips was all it took for Victor to agree to anything she had to say. There was something about earning even the barest of smiles from her that made Victor feel a rush of pride. Admittedly, the past few weeks were a blur in his mind - a training accident, Brother Blood told him. He had simply hit his head. His memories should return quickly.
Victor accepted it as easily as he accepted Jinx's arm.
"So you never told me where you were takin' me." He murmured, wondering if he could get away with a flirtatious eyebrow raise though he decided against it. "Not that I don't trust ya, of course I do. But you're keepin' me in the dark!" A grin stretched easily across his features, stepping centimeters closer to her. "Just a hint?"
jinxislucky replied to your post:Tsk tsk. You can deny all you want but we both know that you're lying! Its easier to just tell the truth.
It’s because you didn’t give me the belt when you had the chance.
"I think you have your karmas mixed up, Jinx. Considering that it's my belt you stole."
Greetings!

GNO
Starfire rocked back and forth on her feet, arms behind her. She was so excited for this event to begin, she ended up showing twenty minutes early. Although that only meant more waiting, she simply couldn't help herself. She wanted to be there as soon as her flight would allow.
After her conversation with Jinx about the former Hive member not getting any girl time, she knew this day was of high necessity.That knowledge definitely fueled her later conversations with the three other Titans, inviting them. She giggled quietly to herself, relieved she was able to convince Raven to tag along.
In slight boredom, the alien began twirling the money-filled, pink purse she had brought (superheroes don't get everything for free!) around her wrist. She almost regretted showing up so early, left alone with no one to converse with.
Just before the alien shifted into a somber slouch, she recognized a figure approaching the building.
"Friend Argent!" Starfire greeted from a distance, waving. "I am most pleased to see you were able to attend!"
//Order is...
Starfire, (obviously) Argent (duh), Terra, Raven, Jinx,
and... Kitten! (unconfirmed)

Robin's Belt
Robin was seated at the couch with a newspaper, his feet crossed over the glass coffee table. A cup of neglected coffee sat off to the side, by now too cold to be considered drinkable.
He was preoccupied with the obituaries, seeking out a connection between three deaths. Not much else was on his mind, least of all a certain pink-haired sorceress.
