@natssketches was very generous of their time and talent to draw another amazing picture for me as a commission, featuring Gladstone Gander and his one-time love interest, Linda Paper, who was a young lady afflicted by bad luck. She appeared in a couple of comics in the early-’90s.

Plus, this fluffy scenario was inspired by these adorable scenes:

The final product is beautiful! It gives my heart a warm and cozy feeling, like Linda’s when Gladstone gallantly offers her coverage with his umbrella to protect her from the freezing, cold rain after getting drenched to the feathers. Thank you for putting so much heart into this ship. You’re a gift! <3

For all who don't know yet, Linda is NO OC. But a Canon comic character who appears in two Gladstone stories.

Yes, she tends to envy and is quite ungrateful. Thinks of herself as an jinx, even though she owns a house, a job and is beautiful. She urgently needs to learn to appreciate what she already has. Instead of wishing her more luck. Anyway, her envy is the reason she can't stand Gladstone. Who is completely in love with Linda.

It's a pity. When she met him, she liked him right away, until she realized that he was a lucky child. Both could learn so much from each other.

I like the pairing even if it canonical did not end well ;__;

Headcanon: If they ever have a baby in the distant future, Gladstone would stay home to take care of the hatchling while Linda works long hours to support them.

Headcanon: In spite of being a lazy ass who gets everything on a silver platter, Gladstone is Linda’s biggest motivation and she displays a 5x7 photo of him on her reception desk as a reminder that she is loved.

Gladstone’s pet name for Linda is "Beautiful", because Linda means “beautiful” in Spanish and Portuguese. ♡
