jiro's design is basically just the thought of "if kyotoku and mika had a boy, how would they dress him?" since in canon, jiro kept the same hairstyle from age four to now... plus i gave him eyes even closer to kyotoku's because it feels more fitting that way?

mineta's design i just completely and utterly winged. i thought "well i headcanon mineta's non-quirk-hair is curly so ima go with that" and then i went with that. so. curly.

she's probably whining for something only to be shot down because "you can't use your cuteness for EVERYTHING you know"

Y'ALL ARE SO SWEET... so here's one more that popped in my head while i was drawing: both of them started using pet names ironically to try and playfully irritate each other (because lets be real, they're definitely the kind of couple that annoy each other just for fun), but they got stuck doing it and can't stop. jiro's are all stupid 'macho' ones like "tiger", while mineta's the one who goes for classics like babe and such, though they'll both use cuter ones in seriousness when they think they're completely alone.

Jironeta date headcanons?

i have no idea if this is gonna end up on the right blog or not so everyone hope and pray that it does!!

- Jiro's the one who usually plans out their dates, if only because she's spontaneous about them. Mineta learns to keep his schedule pretty loose thanks to that, since she'll only tell him ahead of time once in a while.

- When Mineta makes plans, they're the classics like lunch and a movie, or taking them out to a roller rink. When Jiro makes plans, they're weird, whirlwind dates like watching the lobsters fight at the grocery store before going out and trying every food stall in a park.

- They both enjoy "stay in" dates as an excuse to take naps on a week day, though. Provided their hero training allows them the time, anyway.

- Jiro can get kind of raw and emotional when they're walking and talking between destinations because she doesn't pay attention to what she's saying, and Mineta lives for each and every minute of it.

- If they go to a diner or something similar, they'll always sit at a booth and like to share shakes and sodas, even if they tend to be a little tall for Mineta.

- Holding hands while they walk is a little awkward with their height difference, so there have been a lot of dates where she picked him up wholesale and carried him on her shoulders. Sometimes she'll drop a jack down to his height and hold hands with him that way, too.

- Jiro enjoys light, fluffy PDA while they're out and about but she often gets flustered and shy about it, and it drives Mineta absolutely BONKERS. In a good way, obviously.

jiro makes mineta a mixtape and he cries over it, expecting it to either be heart-wrenchingly sweet or playing into his tastes ... but instead it's just 90 minutes of lofi and songs about napping together.
