Yet another break-up and somehow Beck was far from surprised. And for that matter he was DONE: proof in point a date that night with someone other than Jade. He was beyond tired of trying over and over again only to fail over and over again. The definition of insanity was doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result so he was going to try something new and most of all give himself a break. His head, heart and sanity desperately needed it that was for sure.
Sure he had the rest of the year and the following year before everyone would leave Hollywood Arts but in the meantime he would focus on school, auditions, and whatever else life threw at him. An almost inaudible sigh escaped him when he remembered he still had to deal with Sikowitz’s class. Normally he would have cut class but he didn’t want to risk it so he hesitated outside the door before he pushed it open and walked inside, sitting in a corner chair with Andre next to him in the middle, Robbie in the aisle.
As usual Sikowitz was off in his own world, ignoring the class for the time being, wandering and muttering to himself. Beck shook his head and shot off a few texts to confirm his plans for the night. There was some hope there, there had to be something for him to look forward to. There had to be the chance for happiness at some point. He raised an eyebrow at his ex but turned back to the front of the room and waited for Sikowitz to start teaching whatever “lesson” to the waiting students.
