Colin Firth first wore this Regency-era coat as Mr. Darcy in the 1995 production of 𝑷𝒓𝒊𝒅𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑷𝒓𝒆𝒋𝒖𝒅𝒊𝒄𝒆. The costume went on to be worn by J.J. Feild as Mr. Henry Nobley in the 2013 film 𝑨𝒖𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒏𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒅. Confirmation that it is the same coat came from Shannon Hale @squeetus, the author of 𝑨𝒖𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒏𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒅.
