Chaerin was buzzing around like a busy bee, cursing mentally at herself for procrastinating certain jobs and tasks and leaving them until the last minute. She looked like a mad woman, walking quickly before breaking out into a run before walking quickly again. Luckily all her years of living in a farm made her cardio handle the situation well and it provided a little bit of a workout that she had been lacking in for the last little while.
She had managed to finish most of her tasks and had just left the bank where she finished paying for the rest of her bills and stretched her limbs, pleased that she had finished everything quickly and done it right and made a note to never, ever, let herself procrastinate so much again. Laziness led to sloppiness and if she let herself go so easily, she knew very well she’d let go of what she ate too and stop exercising altogether and that was not a part of herself she wanted to risk revisiting again.
You did a lot today Chaerin-ah, she complimented herself. Lets go get a coffee and then go home.
She nodded at herself as this thought and her mind was focused on the cup of coffee now, thinking about the energy it’d give her and thought about going to the gym afterwards for her much delayed workout that she had to make up time on.
Chaerin knew there was a coffee shop nearby and as she turned the next corner, she failed to see the presence on the other side until it was too late and she had bumped into him, surprised and stumbling back before falling on her butt.
She looked up at the person that she had bumped into, ready to apologize and hoping that it wasn’t the demon that haunted her dreams and was glad to see the familiar face. “Sorry Wonchul-ah...I really didn’t see you there,” she said, getting up and brushing herself off. “But you know, you should really watch where I’m going,” she said in a serious tone, but she was kidding of course. It was nice to talk to someone like this and know that they wouldn’t be upset by her words. “What are you doing here?”
