Draco Malfoy

Many hated him, many loved him. A complex character in my opinion. Some of his behaviour is justified , some of it is not. Arrogant and narcissistic, he was spoiled by his parents and became a bully. However he was intelligent and capable of great things. He proved that he could make right decisions despite his villainous background. This is the most important thing for me. It is easy sometimes to be good when your parents have taught you to be good, but it is not so easy to make right decisions with his kind of upbringing. His adult life shows that.

Severus Snape

A character we all hated as kids. We saw him as the villain because of the way he treated our favorite character. At the end we were proven wrong for he was the most brave and intelligent character we had. He was not evil, he was loyal and compassionate. He was one of the most valuable people in the Battle of Hogwarts. If it wasn't for him everything would be different. So I give all my credits to him. Thank you Alan Rickman for portraying this special character.

When I'm 80 years old and sitting in my rocking chair, I'll be reading Harry Potter. And my family will say to me, "After all this time?". And I will say. "Always". - Alan Rickman

Neville Longbotttom

Often clumpsy, forgetful and shy , he wasn’t always considered as a true Gryffindor. However he proved that there was bravery beneath his insecurity. With the help of his friends he was able to overcome his fears and become one of the most brave and loyal fighters. He is a character that in my opinion had the greatest developement throughout the books. An example of courage and surely a well-deserved Gryffindor.

Ron Weasley

One of the male characters that I adore and admire. A best friend that we all want in our lives. He is clever and brave and humourous. He loves his friends and his family and he would do anything for them. Altough the movies don’t give him any credit because they present him as the comic-relief and silly many times, he is probably my favourite harry potter character, because he is authentic.
