I am trying desperately to tune all this transphobia out. But as someone who went to Borders for every midnight release she could - its so hard for me to let Her go. I have given JKR too many chances. I said “they’re just retweets”. I said “I’ll just move her books to the storage locker” this past weekend when she doubled down and started directly tweeting transphobia. I don’t know what it was about today. About reading such vile allegedly “informed” hatred and transphobia. But I’m done. I can’t do this with someone who believes I’m not a woman, that I’m a predatory man. And for her entitled white ass to do this during the greatest social upheaval of my lifetime, and no less during Pride month is ridiculously selfish. So maybe Sunday night when I held this up during our script reading during the HP scene was a warning. That in tearing down the racist and white supremacist systems, we were gonna shake out all the other shit like misogyny, homophobia and transphobia along the way.
