So I started an argument with my class today about whether or not Hamilton was bi (which he totally was y'all there's irrefutable proof), and I was laughing my butt off.

So we're talking about what Hamilton did for the government, right?

Double Dash (kid who sits in front of me and is lowkey highkey my crush): *turns around* So I've heard this rumor that Hamilton was in a relationship with a guy?

Me: *takes a moment to realize what he's talking about* Oh, it's true.

DD: It's true?! *immediately raises hand*

Me: Yeah, Hamilton was a flamin' bisexual.

DD: *is called on* Is it true that Hamilton was bisexual?

Teacher: *caught completely off-guard* Wait, what--? I don't know!

And then everyone just goes off. Mostly in confusion, a lot of people were like "but they didn't do that back in those times" as if being gay is a brand new thing.

I ended up sending Double Dash the evidence of Hamilton's gayness, and I'm really lowkey looking forward to what happens next.

TL;DR - I started a fight in my history class about the sexuality of a pivotal founding father and I love it.
