I glide the fruity stick across my lips and rub it in as a final measure. I give it one final sniff, the sweet smell of passion fruit hitting my nose.

As I do, I hear a knock on the door.

"It's open !" I say and in walks my Eddie.

"What are you up to ?" he says,as he stands behind me towering me.

I look at him through the mirror and smiled.

"Oh just trying this new chapstick I got." I hold up the small peach container for him to see.

"It tastes really good and the smells really good too."

He raises an eyebrow, "Can I have some ?"

"Sure." I hand him the small container expecting him to grab it from my grasps but instead I feel his hand on my chin as he tilts my head back and gives me a long kiss on the lips.I close my eyes and melted on to his touch like a candle to a flame.

He pulls away for a second as my cheeks heat up from the gesture. I look up at him as he licks his lips. My eyes widened and my mouth still slightly open.

"You were right. It does taste really good." He says, a large smile plastered on his face.

(You catch Josephs eye at the Dior event as he watches you walk the red carpet and Joseph finds himself asking his management team about you)

Content/Warnings ⚠️: 18+! This chapter is all fluff, but there is language and adult themes throughout the series. Joseph is a cute little cinnamon roll and is very soft and sweet. ( i hate using *y/n* so the name Lilly is used instead. It's only used a few times but please feel free to replace it with your name if you wish!)

(Lets just say this is his face right after he spots you for the first time)

Joesphs stylist was fixing his collar quickly before he had to make his way down the red carpet. He was looking down at what was being done until he heard boisterous cheers for whoever was currently walking and being photographed.

Joseph looks up to see who was causing the fuss when he spots her. A gorgeous, and he couldn't emphasize enough on how gorgeous, woman in a sleek black gown and subtle diamond accessories was making her way down the red carpet. Joes eyes almost popped out of his skull as he watched the beautiful creature before him. She smiled wide and genuine as her photograph was being taken from a million angles. He didn't look away from her until his stylist coughed to get his attention.

"This look okay Mr. Quinn?" He asks, searching Josephs face for approval.

"Its marvelous Tony, would you please fetch my assistant for me before I have to walk?" Joseph asks politely.

Tony nods happily and shuffles away. Moments later josephs assistant Syd wanders over, eager look on her face.

"You asked for me Mr. Quinn" She said in a small voice.

"Syd, you can call me Joseph, please. I just wanted to know um, who that was?" Joseph asked, pointing in her direction.

"OH" "that's Lilly, she's a contracted model with Doir Mr. Quinn" Syd replied cheerfully, seeing the intrigue in her bosses face. She cleared her throat before speaking again, "I can get her information from her team if you'd like"

Joseph beams down at his assistant, "yes, please" he smiles, kissing her cheek before being notified it was his turn to walk. He stepped in front of the cameras with the biggest smile on his face, giddy like a school aged lad for the fist time in ages.

"Mr. Quinn, I've got her information for you" Syd says, jogging up to his town car and sliding into the back seat next to him.

"Excellent Syd, lay it on me" Joe smiles, high fiving his assistant as she grinned at him.

"Alright so Lilly's assistant gave me this" syd shoves a piece of paper into joes hand, a social media handle written on it.

"Whats this?" Joe asked.

"Its her Instagram handle Joseph, her assistant wasn't going to just give me her number but he said she would be happy to talk to you on Instagram first" syd said, smiling wide at Joes happy reaction.

Joe stared down at the piece of paper, a fire in his belly as he took out his phone and immediately entered the handle into the apps search bar. Her profile quickly came up, and Joseph couldn't stop himself from staring down at the series of beautiful photos in front of him.

The town car made its way into the parking garage of the hotel Joseph was staying at. He got out and quickly made his way inside, before he turned to go down the hall his assistant stopped him.

"Just message her Joseph, I'm sure she would be thrilled" Syd says, patting joes arm reassuringly before turning to head to her own room. Joe walked the rest of the way to his suite with a huge smile on his face.

You were just getting home, your assistant helping you out of your event dress when your phone dinged. You noticed a smirk fall on your assistants lips as he looked at the screen before handing the device to you.

"Why are you making that face Rio?" You asked him. Rio might be on your payroll, but he has been your friend since childhood, he knows you inside and out, making him the perfect person to have by your side in your crazy life. But Rio liked to meddle, and the face he was giving you screamed "Rio The Meddler."

You took the phone from his hand and looked at the push notification that had come in. It was an Instagram message.....from JOSEPH FUCKING QUINN.

"Rio, what the fuck did you....how did he....what..?" You stumbled over your words.

"Lilly calm down" Rio laughs, "his lovely assistant came up to me during the event and said he had asked about you, wanted to see if she could get your number for him. Thought you'd blow a gasket if I gave some random your number so I wrote down your insta tag. You're welcome" he emphasized the last two words, grinning stupidly at your stunned face.

"Dont fucking gawk at it girl, OPEN IT" Rio teases as he finished helping you remove your gown and jewels. He left the room to let you change, once again insisting you open the message before he closed the door behind him.

You put on one of your huge t shirts, and lie on your bed. You let out a long sigh before swiping on the notification, opening the message.

"Hello love, this is Joseph (obviously 😉) I saw you today at the Dior event and just had to know more about you. ❤"

You stared down at the message, re-reading several times, expecting it to change......or disappear. He noticed you at the event.....you couldn't believe it.

You knew who he was of course, his role in Stranger Things had skyrocketed his career and popularity. You thought he was absolutely stunning, but you never in your life thought you'd be staring at a DM from him on your phone. You smile to yourself, trying to play it cool as you replied.

"Mr. Quinn, are you saying you saw me at Dior and then Instagram stalked me to get my attention? 😉"

You pressed send, expecting to put your phone down when it buzzed again a few short seconds later. He had already responded......

"Oh love, I simply couldn't help it, you looked absolutely ravishing in that gown you wore and as soon as I saw that smile I just had to know who you were"

"In all honesty I asked my assistant to talk to your team, I knew we would both be too swamped all day for me to come up to you formally"

You're eyes went wide as you read his messages, heart fluttering at his compliments.

"Haha, I know you did, my nosey assistant Rio is the one who gave you my insta tag. But I'm glad you decided to message me, you looked very handsome yourself. I watched you get your photos taken on the carpet"

"You watched me get my photos taken eh? Whose the stalker now love? Lol only joking......would you maybe want to meet me for dinner in a few? I would love to get the chance I didn't get earlier, and say hello to your pretty face"

Your heart skipped a beat as you read Joes message, face hurting from the smile you had while you typed out a reply.

"I would love that Joseph, give me about 45 minutes and I will send you my building address, sound good?"

"Oh love, I will be counting down the seconds, can't wait to see you ❤"

You let out an excited squeal before bursting through your bedroom door and into the living room. "RIO, I NEED YOUR HELP STAT" You half yell, grabbing him by his arm and pulling him towards your room.

"Whoa chill, where's the fire?!" Rio joked, stumbling as you nearly ran to your closet, still pulling him along.

"He asked me out Rio, and I have 45 minutes to get ready, now wipe off that smirk I see creeping on your face and HELP ME"

"Okay okay, Jesus, you must be nervous to see him. I haven't seen you this riled up in awhile" Rio jabs, quickly making his was to a rack in your closet, pulling several options from it. "Try these on, hurry, you don't want to keep the heartthrob that is Joseph Quinn waiting" Rio winks.

You roll your eyes at him, taking the stack of clothes from he was holding out for you while the reality settled in. You were getting ready for a date.......with the man nearly the entire world had their eyes on, and you suddenly got very, very nervous.

Hi this is why I think Eddie is still alive and will come back

Stranger Things introduces two kinds of new characters into the show (besides just general background people). Characters who die and characters who join the main cast. The show also loves to follow patterns in their writing (Joyce having a wild theory, steve being the babysitter)

Eddie does not fit the pattern of a character they kill. He fits a character who joins the group.

Let me explain.

The main character deaths of the show are Benny, Barb, Bob, Alexei, Billy, and Chrissy.

Each of these deaths had a purpose more than just a death. The death itself was a useful writing tool or the character had nowhere to go in the show so the death made sense. Each death directly affected a main character in the party. And there was very clear evidence that that person was dead. Please stay with me, this will all make sense.

Benny

Purpose/need of death: to show how dangerous the people Eleven was running from were.

Death directly affected: Eleven and Hopper.

Evidence of death: we see him get shot and his dead body surrounded by flies.

Barb

Purpose of character: Her character taught us a lot about Nancy. It showed us what kind of girl Nancy had been and we could see by Barb's reaction to Nancy how Nancy was changing and becoming a little rebellious. Its also just a huge part of Nancys story and her drive.

Purpose/need of death: To show how scary and dangerous the upside down was and the creatures who lived there. Will was trapped there but with Barb's death we saw how people could be taken and killed. Her death was also a huge backstory for Nancy and really fueled her to become the bad ass character she is. She started fighting back because of Barb. 

Death directly affected: Nancy

Evidence of death: we see her dead body many times in the upside down and El confirms shes dead.

Bob

Purpose of character: He really helped round out Joyce's character as more than just a mom and gave her another reason to want to fight. It also gave a really good reason in seasons 2 and 3 for Joyce and Hopper not to get together. In 2 she was with Bob and 3 she was mourning him. 

Purpose/need of death: Joyce/Hopper are endgame so Bob wasn't going to stay around. It was a heart wrenching, well done death.

Death directly affected: Joyce

Evidence of death: We see him get eaten.

Alexei

Purpose of character: he was the connection to the russians. He brought comic relief. And his character really showed the great dynamic and team work between Murrey, Joyce, and Hopper.

Purpose/need of death: Again he wasn't going to stick around or join the party. So his death makes sense and was also very emotional.

Death directly affected: Murrey, Joyce

Evidence of death: We see him shot in the chest.

Billy

Purpose of character: I would put Billy in a slightly different category then the other four. He was obviously in the show longer but he still fits all the criteria. His character really had a lot of purpose. He was a great villain and really helped add to several other characters' growth like Max, Steve, and Eleven. Also in the first two seasons Will was the main focus of the mind flayer/Vecna. In this season Will is relatively free and so Billy is the new focus.

Purpose/need of death: some people will not agree but Billy's death was inevitable unless they continued using him as a villain. Just because he saw and experienced what he did it wouldn't have changed what a messed up, angry, unhinged person he was. And by what Eleven saw and his sacrafising himself he got a little redemption.

Death directly affected: Max

Evidence of death: he was impaled by the spider monster.

Eddie

Purpose of character: if Eddie is really dead then the only “purpose” for his character was to affect the audience. The characters who join the party (Murrey, Max, Robin, Erica) are characters written to be likable interesting people of their own. That's their “purpose” in the show. To be a good character. Eddies is not essential to Chrissy's death. Someone else could have witnessed it (steve, nancy, robin) or they could have simply learned about the killings another way. He also isn't used to round out other characters. Mike and Dustin are outcasts but we don't need Eddie to show us that. He meshes so well with all the other characters but his interactions don't teach us anything new about them. He has great interactions with dustin, mike, steve, nancy, robin but it doesnt show us a new side of them or anything we didn't already know. 

Purpose/need of death: there is no purpose for his death. We don't learn any new information because of it. He also didn't need to die because he fits in so well with the party it's just very logical to have him stay.

Death directly affected: Dustin

Evidence of death: yes I know people will argue this. But. Could they write it so that he just passed out and woke back up once Dustin was gone? Yes. Could they have done that with any of the other deaths? No. He appears dead but the show doesnt show us that Dustin checked for a pulse or waited around for a long time. We also know the bats arent  poisonous becasue they bit Steve too. Lots of animals will leave something alone once they think its dead (isnt there a bear your supposed to play dead to get it to leave you alone??) Also we saw no evidence that his body was eaten or torn apart so it could be used (there's a theory of vecna using his body or bringing him back like how El did with Max) 

So who fits all of this criteria in season 4? Chrissy. And there's a very interesting point in this.

Purpose of character: Chrissy shows us what's happening inside people's minds. How vecna is inside their head. And if Eddie is alive she plays a huge role in rounding out his character. 

Purpose/need of death: Sure they could have fit Chrissy into the party but her death is what the whole Eddie/Jason/Lucas storyline is based on.

Death directly affected: This is the point i think is interesting. Who does Chrissy's death affect? All the other deaths have directly affected a main character in the party. And there's only one person who was a part of the party that her death affected. Eddie. Otherside her death only directly affects Jason

Evidence of death: Sadly we see clear evidence of her death in shots of her body and pictures of her autopsy.

Eddie's death would be a huge deviation from the patterns we've seen in the other deaths. It doesn't make sense. It felt forced and unnecessary. We don't see other stuff like that from this show. So why with Eddie? They’re 4 seasons in and have a huge fanbase. They didn't need his death.

Here are the other reasons I think he's alive. 

They could use Eddie's character immensely. What if he has to survive in the upside down? How much knowledge that could bring to everyone and to us about how it works in there. Can you live there? If you're a smart, crafty adult and not a 12 year old kid? How does time work there? Are there other creatures? How big is it? Is it just Hawkins? If they wanted to explore the upside down in that way they wouldn't want to put Steve or Nancy or Hopper in there. It's the last season and they don't want a chunk of time where that person is stuck and alone.

When I think of how badass that would be and how it just seems like something out of an 80s movie I don't see how the writers could not use that. He would be a little more crazy and clothed in makeshift armor and handmade weapons. I mean come on.

The publicity around his character is big. He has posters and art. Action figures and clothing. Joe Quinn was in so many interviews with the rest of the cast. They started an instagram for him which is basically just about Eddie. He only follows a handful of people and most of them are related to Stranger Things. None of this has been done to this extent for any of the other characters who have died. Steve and Bob were on the show longer than intended because they recognised what good characters they were. You don't write a character like Eddie and not know the type of reaction he will get in this world where we all feel like outcasts and “freaks”
