Recently I learned that Billy Smith (Elvis' cousin) had a band when he was a teenager. Those pictures above are from that period. In the video 'Love at First Sight' from Billy and his wife, Jo,'s Youtube channel (EFM: Elvis Fans Matter), Billy said Jackie Cooper played the drums and Bobby Stewart played guitar, formerly. Concerning Elvis enjoying his music, Billy said to have recorded a demo with his band mates - which never got out officially but the songs were "Streets of Sand" and "Love Key" - and Elvis listened to it. According to Billy, Elvis' reaction was "If you're looking for my help with this, you're not gonna get it. If you make it, just like me, you'll make it on your own." Jo Smith said they still have that demo record but she doesn't remember where it is now exactly but it's in their home. Billy sounded a little against showing it to their audience on Youtube, a little shy about it maybe, but Jo said the band was good and she enjoys the songs they recorded so, maybe one of these days we'll get to listen Billy's music too, hopefully.

I'm a writer for Beyond the Falls, and I'm super passionate about my role. I'm really excited and honored to be part of the development team for this project! Mainly, I write fanfiction, so I guess I kinda fit in here, haha!
I'm not all that great at the 'general intro' stuff, but I like the color green, coffee, plant-y things.. obviously, writing as well. I play a bunch of instruments and I draw frequently. Just about anything in the arts I either appreciate or participate in, or both.
