You will have to remind me what the prize was and the context for it, my memory is foggy! I feel like I'm as old as Stan and Ford themselves haha! Summer ended, but I'm still here. - Holly

Hello everyone, it's me, Holly! I don't know how many of you are still here, but... wow. Things have been a wild ride since I last took a look back at this project and blog, and I wanted to say I am kind of...maybe looking to revive it?

I'm embarrassed to admit, but I've only had one job, my first job ever, for only 7 months and it turned out to be a very toxic environment- and I couldn't mentally, physically or emotionally keep up.

I feel like Stan Pines a lot, good for nothin, I know that's not true, but I can relate so much to Stan.

Anyways I've seen many mental health professionals, and they tell me that I'll probably never be able to hold down a regular 9-5 job. They tell me I have one of the worst cases of Generalized Anxiety disorders they've ever seen.

It's been so horrible that it's landed me in the hospital many times.

But I'm starting to get into therapy, and going to get the things needed to apply for disability and I sort of have a small farm going now with chickens and rabbits.

Hoping to add ducks soon as well. So hopefully the disability money and the small bit of money I make off of farm produce will be enough to keep me afloat.

I'm starting to get back into my Gravity Falls obsession again, and really miss the thrill I got thinking of this passion project~ Anyways, if any of you are still here, and are still at all interest in this project- please shoot me a DM! - Warm regards, Holly.

Hello! I am a 25 year old Creative Writing student who has done some editing work, and taken a Professional Editing course. I also write on Archive of Our Own and have some original literary publications. If you still need somebody on the writing team, I'd love to join!

_ _ I am so sorry to be the bearer of this news, however due to recent happenings, this project has been put on an indefinite hiatus. Unfortunately, me - the creator, Holly- has fallen out of the Gravity Falls fandom and has no interest in continuing the project at this time.

 I’ve moved away from the fandom and do not know when I shall be returning to it, nor if I will pick up this project again. I also have other issues to focus on like finding a job despite the way the world is at the moment, and getting my life together. Sadly I don’t have any time to work on this project. Once again I apologize for the downer news. - Holly.

Hey! I was looking at the female characters that you're still looking for, and the Oracle is referring to Jheselbraum the Unswerving from Journal 3, right? What kind of voice were you looking for for her? Like a low, regal, British accent type thing, or?

We haven't discussed it. Send in whatever you think would fit! If your acting is on point, we can talk about any changes to the type of voice down the line.

(That said, lives are cluttered atm, and responses to auditions may take some time. Rest assured, we do see them!)

This is Holly reblogging this! As far as I see the Oracle I think she should be motherly. Compassionate, patient, kind, her voice should be soft and loving, but also firm and stern whenever need be. I think of her as a motherly figure. So try to make her voice like a mother or even queen like if possible. Wise but fair.

Meet AlliTay!

Hello everybody!

I'm AlliTay! I'm gonna be voicing Mabel for Beyond the Falls, and I'm already super excited about it. I love Gravity Falls with all my heart and Mabel has been one of my favorite characters since day 1, so getting to voice her really is like a dream come true.

I've done a bit of amateur theatre at my college, but this is actually my first time voice acting and I'm really glad it's gonna be for such an amazing project and for one of my favorite characters!

Besides that I also have a passion for figure skating, I like to read (mostly things like Harry Potter <3) or geek out about my favorite shows and movies, and I really love musicals (my two favorites right now being Heathers and Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief).

Audio-visual storytelling is nothing without good sound design! Where would we be without the rain in the trees, the crackling of a dying fire, and the distant sounds of the night?

Concepts & Reference Art: Creatures Through The Multiverse

"This creature is bizzare, as it is the only one known to exist. A chunk of hollow and dead wood gifted sentience by an unknown collection of fungi. Due to the many different molds and mushrooms growing on the being and the fact that sometimes the exterior fungi will cycle out, it is near impossible to determine what gave it sentience. To that would require breaking the little creature to examine its interior or an intensive scrape of its grain, but it is sentient and has its rights. Its friendly exterior can turn sour, though. If you anger it, it may unleash toxic spores upon you. Its shape is odd, so it is speculated that it started as a totem piece from some extinct civilization. It named itself 'Henry'."

What does an episode editor entail? Is it like with regular cartoons with piecing together submitted animations or something else? Also what kind of examples would you guys want in an editing portfolio?

That's right. Images and sound. You'll need a good sense of timing and audio-visual effect.

It would ideally be something of the animated or animatic variety, but live action may work as well. We asked someone to come in because of their heartstopping music videos, and another person auditioned using videos they'd made of them and their friends doing little skits. (Unfortunately, neither of them got back to us in the end.)

So you can see the variety of auditions we'll welcome. If you've ever edited videos of any kind, send them on over. If we need something more, we'll let you know.

Do you guys still need writers? If so, what kind of writing samples would you need? Do they have to be specifically of GF or something else counts too?

Honestly the samples can be from anywhere, it doesn’t just have to be exclusively Gravity Falls. 

You can just send in a few sample fanfics to me and Alex, and we’ll read through them and share our thoughts with one another. Then we shall decide if we’ve decided to accept you on the team. Also if you have in writing in the script format, then that will also boost your chances of being accepted. 

Remember everyone has strengths and weaknesses when it comes to writing. So even if you lack strength some areas, but make up for it in others, you are still highly likely to be chosen. Because we can take your strengths and assign you to sections of writing that will best fit your skills. - Holly Rose.

What quality would you need for a voice actor? Would a proper mic and paid tools be needed? And what if you're not confident that you'll be free 24/7?

We’ve covered the mic question before. As long as you have a decent quality microphone then you’re set. 

Also as of current production is going rather slow since we are gathering everyone together. It’s important to get a solid team together before we try and do anything else. 

So I wouldn’t worry too much on not being confident if you’ll be free 100% of the times. Honestly if you find time to voice act your lines, before a certain due date, you’re all good. - Holly Rose
