In which Joaquin says that he's read some fanfics...And the guy does love klaine...(okay so he clarified that he's read bits and pieces sent to him in cards...not whole ones...nonetheless)
I cannot imagine ever having another fandom in my life where the relationship between fandom and creators/actors is so intertwined. It's weird and awesome and freaky and cool.
He also confirmed that he is directing 6.12, and not (also) 6.13.
Small (but fun) spoiler...
Joaquin is referring to 'I'm So Excited' - It is sung by the Trouble Tones (#TT), Mirabel (#legendarysongbird), Whitney Pierce (#comicgenius) and Gi from GOBR said I could reveal that it is also...Pam and Carole...THE FOUR MOMS PERFORM.
**Usual caveat of this being subject to any changes that are made on set etc...But that's the concept.
Couple of noteworthy things from Joaquin's tweets today:
1. Rachel is "singing her heart out" today. (6.09 is filming today)
2. They do not know yet who is playing Blaine's mom. This confirms what I suspected which is that there is still a lot of 8 left to film and nothing has yet been filmed with his mom.
So a person named 'Michael McRae' who seems to be an actor, complimented Joaquin on his amazing set and Joaquin replied saying it's been nice having him with them so much...
No idea who he may be playing but fwiw...there you go.
Edit: OR he may doing an internship type thing for cinematography as he did hashtag to Joaquin #proudtoworkforyou
It looks like Joaquin was hinting today that the 700th is "Same Love". Obviously it's about love so it fits and it makes sense for it to be sung for Brittana.
I have SO many asks about this omg (four in a row).
I actually am not sure that’s what he was hinting. He tweeted “love is patient, love is kind’ randomly today while on a location shoot on a street corner. A klaine fan (name was klainefan71) asked if he was hinting at something for a ‘very hungry’ fandom and he replied with a series of hearts.
Then an apparent brittana shipper asked if it was a biblical verse, song lyrics, a wedding vow? (it is a biblical verse that’s used also in Same Love) and he responded with a smiley.
And then he confirmed from a separate asker that the list going around for 700 was fake.
I’m not sure why everyone is so sure they’re doing Same Love from this but it could be (and it does fit and would be a great song with what looks like Amber and Kevin singing (among others I’m sure). I’m just not positive that’s what his original tweet was about, as they filmed seven hundred five days ago. ?
