I will say one good thing will so many people not applying for jobs is that I have more interviews then ever. I had one interview for a librarian position in MI (I didn't get the job). 

But I applied to a library director position in IL and they called me the same day I applied and  wanted to talk to me again the next day! Then they said I might get a call next week after they interview the other 2 people.  

Then I got an interview for another director position in MT. The problem with that job is it’s so rural there is no apartment to move into. 

Then the next day I got a call for a research Librarian position in WA. 

I wanted to be out of my current job since I started over 2 years ago. I can’t wait to quit. I work 3 part time jobs.
