in the light world, he is a total hermit and is rarely seen in hometown despite having grown up there and lived there for his entire life. he spends his time knitting shawls and sewing clothes. sometimes he leaves his house to dump piles of new clothing items at the church. ralsei seems to know him really well, which confuses the others.

edit: i changed her "The Young Darling of The Common Pony" title to "Equestria's Daughter" since it's more succinct and better conveys what the title means. due to her humble upbringing, many impoverished or otherwise "common" ponies have sort of pseudo-familial feelings toward Sandwich, thinking of her much like one would think of a daughter. similar to how people referred to Princess Diana as "The People's Princess"? she also heavily resembles how Celestia looked when she was young, with young-Celestia's image having been used as a symbol of childhood purity and innocence. young fillies are often gifted dolls or pendants with portraits of the young Celestial Sisters for their birthdays, that sort of thing.
