Six of Crows

Has been such an inspiring read. The whole way through I was getting sparks of inspiration and new ideas and plot lines that I of course never wrote down because I was simultaneously so enthralled with the book. I’m invested in every character, I’m living in the Grishaverse myself when I pick up this book. Every minute was thrilling and I can’t wait to start Crooked Kingdom and then afterwards get back to my own universe

I am HOOKED on this series. I just finished the second book, The Masked City, and I am now running on so little sleep I’m asleep on my feet at work dreaming about the next one. I. Am. So. Excited.

A thrilling sci-fi/fantasy series filled with classical mythical beings shown in a new way, clashing agendas, mortal enemies, excitingly intelligent characters, and a cause I can get behind: the preservation of books all across the many alternate worlds out there.

I’m telling you I cannot put these books down. And I just realized there’s FIVE books so far not just three and I’m overjoyed with the amount of time I’m going to get to spend with these characters. Genevieve Cogman is fighting for my heart as my favorite fantasy writer with Cornelia Funke.

Just finished reading The Unkindness of Magicians by Kat Howard

A very fun read full of all the elements of a story I love: magical duels, cashual and background romance that doesn’t consume or distract from the story, a powerful female lead, multiple storylines all connected and mysteries that unfold throughout, plot twists galore. Would recommend to any reader looking for a quick, fun, fantasy read.
